Special ISIS
For young people with adventurous plans: studying, interning, backpacking, au pair work or volunteering abroad for 60 days up to 4 years.
What is covered?
Every Special ISIS policy includes baggage, extraordinary expenses (such as returning home early), accidents and personal liability, also during internships and volunteering arranged through an organisation. Medical expenses are added with one of two options:
- Extra: a top-up to your Dutch health insurance, covering costs up to the actual price.
- All-in: for people without Dutch health insurance (up to age 55).
Choose Standard, Super or Super+. Super and Super+ include legal assistance; Super+ has no excess on baggage and medical expenses.
Area of cover and age
Choose Europe, Worldwide excluding the USA, or Worldwide including the USA (up to age 45). The insurance can run up to age 65; from age 36 a 10% surcharge applies.
Cancellation insurance
Add the ISIS Cancellation Insurance to cover your booked trip if you have to cancel or return within the first 45 days, for example due to illness. The premium is 5% of the trip cost plus 21% insurance tax, and you must take out the cover within 7 days of booking your trip.
